Like other species of guinea fowl, they move in flocks of up to 20, eating insects and other foods. In winter, they form breeding pairs and nest, then join the herd in the warmest months.

Pale blue spotted feathers have been used by Tyers as an alternative for large salmon flies, where a jay feather would normally be used.

Body feathers and large feathers can be used whole for the wings of salmon flies, cheeks or sides.

These are beautiful feathers, extremely graphic, the spots are pale blue on a dark blue background, almost black.

There is a whole range of size and the color is the same from the smallest to the largest feather.

Each bird has 3 pairs of wings with a white edge, The others are cobalt blue with pale blue spots and lines.

The skin is delivered in a mail box 70 cm long (27.6 in) by 50 cm width (19.7 in) by 5 cm high (2in).
It is kept by ties on an acid-free black cardboard and protected by a waterproof bag.
An identification plate is laminated on the cardboard containing all the information about the bird, as well as its identification.
